Been there. Pretty much been to every spot in Zion. Lovely place. Great capture of it, too!

I've hiked the Zion length of the Virgin River, all the major trails, and wandered as much of the park as you can reach, pretty much (including some parts the rangers told us not to go to...;-) )

Good for you, I've also spent a good deal of time wondering Zion's backcountry, have you ever been to thru Orderville or to the Mountain of the Sun?

I've been to both, but sadly, only had a video camera at the time. I'll be sure to take a camera on my next trip. :-)

Me too, but never with a :camera:
Have you gone past Checkerboard Mesa to the Parunaweap or done the Subway?

I've made 3 trips to the area, and spent about 6 weeks between them just hiking around, all between 1989 - 2000. I remember some of the place names, but not all of them. I do remember Checkerboard Mesa, and went for several miles along the Virgin river and its branches, including Parunaweap, and crisscrossed through the back country along the trails leading from them. The slot canyons were all fascinating, and I hope to go back within the next few years to take all the pictures I missed on the first trips.
